A collection of student-produced television and video projects shaped by hands-on instruction, creative collaboration, and mentorship.
Barry TV
As an adjunct instructor for Barry University’s COM 605: Advanced Video Production, I advised students in creating the university’s first-ever Barry TV program—a collaborative production about the university, made for its campus community.
1800 Seconds
As a visual media instructor at Deerfield Beach High School, I advised high school video production students in producing 1800 Seconds, a community-driven television show that gave young creators the platform to pitch and broadcast their own stories on public access cable. The project's success and outreach won a national ING Unsung Heroes Award for an outstanding educational project.

Suncoast Emmy Award-Winning Student Work
Two student-produced video segments, Everglades and Life, edited by Kaitlin Card, received the highly prestigious Suncoast Emmy Award of Excellence in 2010. These projects highlight the creativity and technical skills students developed through hands-on video production instruction.
Florida International University Speak-Off
As a communication instructor at Florida International University, I coordinated the annual Speak-Off, a student public speaking competition. The 2013 theme, “Voices of Change,” challenged finalists to explore a global communicator or communication event that inspired change. Three finalists presented at the FIU Communication Arts Forum, with Ariela Nijamkim earning first place for “The Power of Voice.”
